About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Critical Asset Planner to join their team in Taif. This full-time role involves developing and managing critical asset planning tools and scenarios for the Typhoon platform, ensuring alignment with RSAF Force priorities and integrated logistics operations.

Role Objective

The Critical Asset Planner is responsible to the Fleet Management Support Service (FMSS) Team Leader, through the FMSS Scenario Modeller. Key objectives include the development of the PC Critical Asset Planning Tool and the creation of ad hoc 'What If' asset management scenarios. These activities aim to provide strategic advice to the PC Logistics Inventory Optimisation Supply team, PC Stakeholders, and RSAF Fleet Management regarding Typhoon platform assets. All plans are to be executed in accordance with RSAF Force priorities and integrated across the RSAF Command Structure, the Integrated Logistics Operations Centre (ILOC), and RSAF and PC maintenance organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and report on Major Critical Assets, including Engines, Damocles LRP, and Pylons.
  • Monitor and report on recommendations that could impact Salam contractual deliverables.
  • Conduct continuous analysis of asset data to identify areas for future improvement in planning, tasking optimization, and maintenance efficiency.
  • Provide proactive support and direction to on-base RSAF stakeholders to ensure effective planning and accomplishment of all scheduled maintenance requirements, maintenance program changes, and operational requirements.
  • Offer fleet direction to other on-base Salam stakeholders regarding asset usage rates, Operator adherence, and Scheduled and Corrective Maintenance.
  • Provide inputs for formal reports as required by key stakeholders from RSAF, BAE Systems SA, or BAE Systems.
  • Enhance and augment the capability of the current Fleet Management Organisation by developing and deploying fleet management policy underpinned by repeatable processes and procedures, developing and deploying modelling capability using the Witness Toolset, and developing and deploying strategic and tactical planning capability using the Mxi LRP Toolset.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required for this position.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Taif, Saudi Arabia, within BAE Systems Saudi Arabia.
