Shift Supervisor

About the Role

Cobra Coffee, a Starbucks UK franchised partner, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to join its team in Makkah and Taif. This full-time role involves leading shifts and collaborating with baristas to deliver the Starbucks Experience to customers. The Shift Supervisor will play a central role in store operations and team development.

Role Overview

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily shift operations, ensuring high-quality service, beverages, and products. This position requires a focus on customer experience, team coaching, and problem-solving within a retail or hospitality environment. The role involves leading operational activities and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the Store Manager to lead shifts, support partners, and ensure a positive Starbucks Experience for both partners and customers.
• Setting priorities, allocating resources, and delegating tasks to drive store profitability.
• Motivating the store team to deliver consistent service, including anticipating and resolving potential issues to optimize the customer experience.
• Identifying and sharing best practices with the team through teachable moments.
• Executing store operations during scheduled shifts, including organizing opening and closing duties.
• Ensuring all partners adhere to Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety, and security.
• Providing consistent quality beverages and food products by following all recipe and presentation standards, and adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous coaching or supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience leading operational activities in a retail or hospitality environment.
• Ability to coach teams and foster a positive learning environment.
• Experience range: 5-10 years.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within a fast-paced store environment. Working hours may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends, reflecting the operational nature of the stores.
