Role Overview

The Senior Specialist, Sustainability & Energy Solutions supports Ma'aden's sustainability and resource growth objectives by identifying opportunities to enhance energy efficiency, resource utilization, and environmental performance across operations. This full-time role, based in Thuwal, involves transforming operational and sustainability data into actionable insights to support informed decision-making and value creation. The position requires 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver insights to improve energy efficiency, resource utilization, and sustainability performance for assigned initiatives.
• Identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities through data analysis and benchmarking.
• Establish performance baselines, indicators, and tracking mechanisms for measurable sustainability outcomes.
• Support pilot programs, proof-of-concepts, and implementation activities to accelerate innovation adoption.
• Provide technical and economic analysis to strengthen prioritization and investment decisions.
• Produce accurate dashboards, reports, and performance insights for effective management decisions.
• Translate complex technical and operational data into practical recommendations and business actions.
• Advance opportunities to improve sustainability performance, energy efficiency, and resource effectiveness.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry practices that support operational improvement and sustainability goals.
• Build effective partnerships across operations, engineering, sustainability, and Technology & Innovation functions.
• Ensure sustainability activities align with environmental regulations, ESG requirements, and corporate governance standards.
