QHSE Officer

About the Role

El Seif Operation and Maintenance is seeking a QHSE Officer to join their team in Turaif, Northern Frontier. This full-time role involves supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment standards within Facilities Management (FM) operations. The position is crucial for maintaining high safety, quality, and compliance standards in active project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular QHSE inspections, site walks, audits, and compliance assessments across FM project sites.
• Monitor and verify the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, permits, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, quality deficiencies, and non-compliance issues, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions until closure.
• Support investigations of incidents, accidents, near misses, and non-conformities, and prepare clear and accurate reports.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, inspection records, audit reports, training records, and compliance tracking systems.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety briefings, awareness campaigns, and site-level QHSE training sessions.
• Coordinate with operations teams, maintenance personnel, supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives on all QHSE-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi regulations, company standards, client requirements, and project-specific QHSE procedures.
• Monitor PPE compliance, work-at-height activities, electrical safety practices, housekeeping standards, waste management processes, emergency preparedness, and permit-to-work controls.
• Support internal and external audits and assist in closing audit findings within agreed timelines.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and maintain high standards of QHSE discipline across all site teams.
• Provide regular QHSE performance updates and recommendations to management to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to ensure site compliance, conduct inspections, support audits, report incidents, and follow up on corrective actions.
