About the Role

AlRomaih Industrial Commercial Group is seeking a QHSE Officer to ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulations across all farm operations in Riyadh. This is a full-time position focused on maintaining high standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and walk-throughs across all farm areas, including breeder houses, production farms, storage, maintenance, and logistics facilities.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with Neama HSE policies, Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), National Centre for Environmental Compliance, and Saudi Civil Defence regulations.
  • Coordinate with local authorities such as MEWA inspectors, Civil Defence officers, and the National Centre for Environmental Compliance (NCEC) during scheduled inspections, reporting, or incident response.
  • Identify hazards, unsafe behaviours, and potential HSE risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain QHSE records in alignment with group requirements.
  • Execute activities related to the function using safe and environmentally friendly methods.
  • Support QHSE-related documentation and audit requirements.
  • Support the implementation of quality procedures that intersect with QHSE and operational processes.

Incident and Emergency Management

  • Act as a site coordinator for HSE-related incidents, including injuries, fires, chemical spills, and disease outbreaks.
  • Lead root cause analysis and prepare investigation reports using official forms.
  • Maintain updated emergency response plans and lead regular drills (fire, medical, biosecurity breach).
  • Deliver HSE inductions and awareness sessions for site workers, covering biosecurity protocols and PPE use.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and refreshers on safe work procedures, heat stress prevention, and chemical handling.
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability at the farm level.
  • Collect and report monthly HSE performance indicators, including inspections, near misses, man-hours, and LTIs.
  • Maintain HSE documentation and submit HSE updates to the Group HSE Manager periodically.
  • Support internal audits and third-party compliance reviews as required.

Environmental and Biosecurity Compliance

  • Monitor the proper handling, storage, and disposal of disinfectants, pesticides, and veterinary chemicals.
  • Monitor emissions, wastewater, operational wastes, and chemical use in accordance with local regulations and ISO 14001.
  • Report and respond to environmental incidents or breaches of biosecurity protocols.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and identify control measures as needed.
  • Understand and apply risk registers aligned with Group requirements.

Work Environment

This full-time role is based in Riyadh and involves working across various operational areas within the farm, requiring active engagement with site workers and coordination with external authorities.
