Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize financial risks.
• Analyze credit applications and assess the creditworthiness of corporate clients and travel agencies.
• Manage accounts receivable and oversee debt collection processes efficiently.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to establish appropriate credit limits and terms for clients.
• Monitor and report on credit portfolio performance, identifying trends and potential risks.
• Negotiate payment plans and resolve disputes with delinquent accounts.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Implement and maintain credit management software systems.
• Train and supervise credit department staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit management.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Credit Manager position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in credit management, preferably within the hospitality or a related industry. A strong understanding of financial principles, credit risk assessment, and debt collection practices is required. The role demands proficiency in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the ability to manage and develop a credit department team.
