The Role: In Room Dining Order Taker (Saudi National)

Fairmont The Red Sea is seeking a dedicated In Room Dining Order Taker to join our hospitality team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is open to Saudi Nationals with 0-1 years of experience. The primary responsibility involves serving as the initial point of contact for guests placing food and beverage orders to their rooms, ensuring accurate processing and exceptional service that reflects our commitment to luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer in-room dining calls promptly and professionally, providing guests with comprehensive menu information and recommendations.
• Accurately record guest orders in the point-of-sale system, ensuring all special requests and dietary requirements are clearly documented.
• Communicate orders efficiently to the kitchen and room service teams to maintain service standards.
• Address guest inquiries regarding menu items, pricing, and service options with knowledge and courtesy.
• Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions while adhering to service protocols.
• Resolve guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of orders and guest preferences to enhance future service experiences.
• Adhere to all established food safety, hygiene, and service protocols.
• Coordinate with room service staff to ensure timely delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Multitask effectively during peak service periods while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of proven customer service experience in a hospitality or food service environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer literacy.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
• Professional phone etiquette and a courteous demeanor.
• Knowledge of fine dining service standards and menu terminology (preferred).
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and flexibility in handling guest requests.
• Ability to maintain composure and quality of service in a fast-paced environment.
