About the Role

Sheraton is seeking a Bill Collector / Credit Clerk to join its team. This full-time role is open to Saudi nationals only and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The position involves supporting management in financial operations, ensuring accuracy in records, and managing collection processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist management in reviewing existing and evolving operating and financial issues.
  • Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents.
  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, or computers.
  • Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
  • Review, reconcile, and process credit card vouchers, advance deposits, overpayments, cancelled reservations, tax exemptions, and voucher invoices (*, Marriott Rewards and gift certificates).
  • Respond to and resolve questions or disputes from Marriott's Shared Service Center/guests, credit card companies, and banks.
  • Conduct credit checks as directed and follow up to resolve past due accounts.
  • Set up, maintain, and manage collections of check guarantee service accounts.

Operational Support and Compliance

  • Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, and motivating employees.
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, communicating clearly and professionally.
  • Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to read and visually verify information.
  • Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar financial or credit management role.
  • Saudi nationality is a mandatory requirement for this position.
