The Role of Duty Manager

Accor is seeking a Duty Manager to join its team. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering positive guest experiences. The role requires a team-oriented individual who demonstrates integrity, compassion, and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach, counsel, and discipline team members, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all hotel features, facilities, services, and hours of operation.
• Possess full understanding of all room types, numbers, layouts, decor, appointments, and locations.
• Stay informed about all room rates, special packages, and promotions.
• Monitor daily house counts, expected arrivals, departures, and VIPs.
• Be aware of room availability status for any given day.
• Know scheduled in-house group activities, locations, and times.
• Adhere to all hotel and departmental policies, procedures, LQA, and Forbes Standards.
• During overnight shifts, proceed with Night Audit, prepare and distribute necessary reports, check and update arrival profiles in Opera, and prepare the Mondrian Hotel News for all departments.
• Monitor the check-in/check-out process, anticipate critical situations, and provide assistance to ensure efficient guest processing.
• Maintain positive guest relations consistently.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests regardless of business levels or time of day.
