About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineer III to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role involves maintaining hotel facilities and responding to guest repair requests, ensuring a high standard of service. The Engineer III will contribute to the brand's commitment to providing exquisite experiences at its luxury hotels and resorts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and clients to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for proper function.
  • Transport equipment such as tools and radios as required.
  • Identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves.
  • Maintain appropriate maintenance inventory and order parts and supplies as needed.
  • Record information about calls not completed before shift change.
  • Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures, report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, complete safety training and certifications, and safely store flammable materials.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support the team to achieve common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to concerns.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
  • Ascend and descend regular stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as outlined in the responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
