About the Role

ASMO is seeking a Facility & Maintenance Manager for its SPARK site in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the site by overseeing facility maintenance and administrative functions. The manager will lead a team of Facility & Maintenance Technicians and a Facility Admin Controller, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the Department's short to mid-term strategic plan, aligning with departmental priorities and corporate goals.
  • Develop annual business plans for assigned areas to support financial and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor, control, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the Department, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including building infrastructure, equipment, and utilities, to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs to maximize facility uptime and minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with Facility & Maintenance Technicians to schedule and perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Manage external vendors and contractors for specialized facility maintenance services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards for the facility.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Facility & Maintenance Technicians, providing guidance and support for efficient maintenance operations.
  • Schedule and assign tasks, manage work orders, and oversee work progress to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, offer training opportunities, and foster continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
  • Collaborate with the Facility Admin Controller to manage administrative functions, including budgeting, procurement, and record-keeping.
  • Oversee inventory management for maintenance supplies and equipment, optimizing resource utilization and controlling costs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of maintenance activities and expenditures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality control, to ensure seamless facility operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the facility.
  • Monitor and report KPIs related to facility maintenance and administrative functions to the Site Director.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized and accredited university, or equivalent relevant work experience, is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
  • Certifications in facility management or maintenance management (*, CFM, CMRP) are preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English is essential.
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in a similar or related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leading position, is required.
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance and management is necessary.

This is a full-time position within ASMO's operations in Saudi Arabia.
