About the Role
Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Engineering Entry Professional to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and involves performing services on cooling equipment and conducting power audits. The position emphasizes contributing to sustainability through actions at the intersection of automation, electrification, and digitization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform services on APC & Uniflair cooling equipment and chillers.
- Conduct basic Power Audits of customer distribution systems and collaborate with Sales on Availability Assessments.
- Document all necessary information for each site visit.
- Work with team members on custom and large installation projects.
- Properly document, label, and return all defective parts from APC-MGE equipment repairs to the designated location.
- Educate APC-Uniflair customers on basic equipment operation and inform them of potential issues in a beneficial manner for both the customer and Schneider Electric.
- Assist Schneider Electric Service Partners during site visits, evaluating technical and professional performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High level of technical knowledge in electronic/electrical component theory.
- Ability to perform duties with general direction and minimal supervision.
- Adherence to all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Participation in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
- Capability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret technical instructions in various forms and manage abstract and concrete variables.
- Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record keeping, database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate effectively across various intellectual levels.
Work Environment and Travel
This role requires 7x24 field service availability when assigned. The professional must also be available to travel across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as needed.
