GCP Solution Architect

About the Role

iSolution is seeking a GCP Solution Architect to join our team. This full-time role involves designing and proposing cloud solutions, providing technical expertise, and supporting the pre-sales lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience in cloud architecture and solution design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and propose cloud solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Microsoft Azure based on customer requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and support throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
• Analyze customer business and technical requirements to recommend appropriate cloud solutions.
• Assist in solution design, configuration, and architecture through collaboration with internal technical teams.
• Participate in the technical qualification of sales opportunities by assessing customer requirements, competition, decision-making processes, and project scope.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations, workshops, and solution demonstrations with customers.
• Deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate proposed solutions and support successful sales closures.
• Act as the technical liaison between the Sales and Delivery teams, ensuring clear communication regarding solution design, implementation approach, timelines, and project scope.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including high-level solution architecture, deployment planning, effort estimation, and resource costing.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution positioning and customer satisfaction.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a strong background in cloud architecture and solution design. The role requires practical experience in developing and implementing cloud-based solutions across various platforms.

• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, focusing on cloud solution architecture.
• Demonstrated expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with experience in AWS or Microsoft Azure being beneficial.
• Proven ability to translate business and technical requirements into effective cloud solutions.

Technical Skills

The role demands a comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing solutions on GCP.
• Capability to conduct technical discussions, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
• Skill in preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals.
