Responsibilities:
- Recording financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Preparing financial reports such as the balance sheet and income statement.
- Monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure financial accuracy.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring bills and dues are paid.
- Preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Monitoring cash flows and analyzing financial status.
- Coordinating financial audits and preparing required data.
- Preparing salaries and dues and ensuring timely payment.
- Analyzing costs and expenses to provide financial recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial laws.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or any related field.
- Membership registration in the accounting body.
- Previous experience in accounting (varies by job and required experience level).
- Familiarity with local and international accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP.
- Ability to effectively prepare budgets and financial reports.
- Proficiency in modern accounting systems and data analysis tools.
- Preferred to have professional certifications such as SOCPA, CPA, CMA as per job requirements.
