About the Role

Edition is seeking a Heart of House Specialist to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role is essential in supporting various vital functions across the hotel by assisting multiple departments with their cleaning requirements. The specialist will contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare clean linen and dishes for guest use.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as dishwashers, hand washing stations, washing machines, and dryers.
• Transport dishes and linen throughout the hotel premises.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe workplace environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations.
• Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.
• Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to concerns from other employees.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or dangerous working conditions to management.
• Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds (* kg) without assistance.
• Work for extended periods while standing, sitting, or in motion.
• Reach for objects overhead and below the knees, involving bending, body rotations, pulling, and stooping.
• Execute all other tasks as requested by managers and consistent with the position.

Qualifications and Experience

• No specific high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior related work experience is necessary.
• No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• No specific license or certification is mandated.

Work Environment

The Heart of House Specialist will work across various departments, including kitchen, catering, and laundry, to support essential cleaning functions. This role involves active participation in hotel operations, ensuring a clean and functional environment for both guests and staff.

Physical Demands
