Role Overview: HSE Supervisor

The HSE Supervisor is responsible for preventing property loss and environmental damage during project execution. This full-time role involves ensuring safety inputs are integrated into method statements, establishing site safety according to the HSE program, and implementing hazard identification and risk mitigation strategies. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily project HSE operations in line with company policies, procedures, and budget.
• Contribute to meeting accountabilities for all HSE activities within the project.
• Assist in updating the HSE deliverables schedule based on identified project risks and mitigation plans.
• Support the maintenance of the company’s safety certifications.
• Promote a safety culture across all company divisions.
• Ensure HSE policies are implemented to minimize hazards.
• Support compliance with HSE legislation, regulations, rules, standards, and requirements.
• Assist in establishing an effective system for investigating, reporting, and estimating the cost of injuries or damages.
• Provide input to management on the effectiveness of HSE program implementation.
• Support major incident and accident investigations within the project.
• Assist in the planning, budgeting, and delivery of corporate training.
• Coordinate with all divisions to identify and address major HSE issues, including those raised by clients.
• Support Personnel and Admin in reporting safety incidents.
• Assist in coordinating periodic HSE audits with relevant parties.
• Support the development of the company’s expertise, know-how, controls, and capabilities in safety.
• Conduct HSE orientation for new project employees.
• Lead Safety toolbox meetings, HSE awareness sessions, and training.
• Conduct site emergency drills.
• Review material safety data sheets.
• Ensure regular inspections are conducted to identify potential hazards.
• Prepare traffic plans for the site.
• Conduct HSE auditing within the project.

Experience Requirements

• Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety, and Environment supervision.
