About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Manager - Entertainment Strategy to contribute to the strategic development of Qiddiya's entertainment assets. This full-time role involves supporting the Associate Director in defining and delivering the long-term vision for the entertainment portfolio, with a focus on early planning and concept development for new entertainment destinations.

Role Purpose

The Manager - Entertainment Strategy ensures that new entertainment assets align with Qiddiya's strategic objectives, guest experience ambitions, and commercial targets. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field, contributing to the overall success of the entertainment offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Associate Director of Entertainment Strategy in executing overarching entertainment asset class strategies to achieve portfolio and asset ambitions, visions, and objectives.
  • Manage early design stages of development, including ideation, pre-concept, and concept, and contribute to all development stages of new entertainment assets, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's entertainment offering and financial targets.
  • Develop project documentation for distribution, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Scope of Work (SOW), programmes, strategy briefs, and various project matrices.
  • Manage consultants, collaborate with IP licensors (where relevant), and other third parties to ensure insights and recommendations align with the overall scope of work, engagement objectives, and business expectations.
  • Conduct analysis and research on entertainment asset benchmarks (*, theme parks, family entertainment centres) and strategic topics to support robust decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of initial go-live strategies, including operating models, pricing, sales and marketing, and manpower planning, while providing implementation support to other functions within Qiddiya.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and other materials for internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, secure approvals, and effectively communicate entertainment asset designs and strategic initiatives.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in entertainment strategy or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage early design and concept development stages for large-scale entertainment projects.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive project documentation and managing external consultants and partners.
  • Proficiency in conducting market research and benchmark analysis to inform strategic decisions.
