About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Manager Finance & Business Support to join its team. This full-time position is based in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on providing essential financial leadership and strategic business support across the organization.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to drive business growth by actively engaging with various business units. The Manager Finance & Business Support provides financial leadership through business stewardship, comprehensive support, and constructive challenge to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of business strategy and learn to challenge priorities effectively.
• Create robust business cases to support strategic resource allocation decisions.
• Evaluate longer-term opportunities for cost and revenue optimisation.
• Perform tactical interventions with business units to close gaps against plans and ensure successful project delivery.
• Enhance commercial acumen by proactively engaging with business counterparts to understand key business drivers and industry/competitive challenges.
• Support the 3-year strategic planning process, the formal budget review process, and the quarterly forecast review process.
• Review monthly and quarterly financial performance reports and commentary for high-value business areas, ensuring transparency of risks and opportunities.
• Assist senior management decision-making by assessing risks and opportunities to improve key financial and winnings metrics.
• Identify improvement opportunities through benchmarking performance within and across regions.

Experience and Work Type

This is a full-time position requiring candidates to have 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant finance or business support capacity. The role demands a proactive and engaged approach to financial management and strategic business partnership.
