Role Summary

Naphora Games Group is seeking a QA Specialist to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring the quality of mobile games by hands-on testing of builds, features, prototypes, and releases. The specialist will identify and document issues, validate fixes, and assess the overall player experience. This position requires close collaboration with Engineering, Game Design, Art, Product, and Production teams in a fast-paced development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Test mobile game builds, features, prototypes, and releases.
• Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, compatibility, usability, and performance testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and regression coverage.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs with clear steps and supporting evidence.
• Verify bug fixes and support release and post-release testing.
• Test across various mobile devices and operating systems.
• Test key player flows including gameplay, progression, economy, ads, IAP, onboarding, and live features.
• Identify gameplay, usability, visual, and performance issues impacting player experience.
• Explore edge cases and unexpected player behaviors.
• Provide clear feedback on quality issues and areas affecting the overall game experience.
• Collaborate with Programmers, Designers, Artists, Product, and Production throughout development.
• Communicate quality risks, blockers, bugs, and testing progress clearly.
• Work with the team to reproduce, investigate, and validate issues.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, test coverage, and overall testing practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of QA/testing experience, preferably within mobile games.
• Experience with manual testing, regression testing, bug reporting, and test case management.
• Good understanding of mobile games and the player experience.
• Experience testing across iOS and Android platforms.
• Knowledge of or prior experience with tools such as Jira, Miro, and Unity.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues and edge cases.
• Curious, methodical, and capable of investigating problems to understand root causes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned testing areas and work independently.
• Experience with Hybrid Casual, Casual, or Free-to-Play mobile games is an advantage.
• Exposure to test automation or scripting is an advantage.
• Experience testing analytics/events, ads, IAP, or live game features is an advantage.
• Familiarity with App Store and Google Play release processes is an advantage.
