About the Role

ABIS is seeking a Safety Manager to join our team. This full-time role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing the project's health, safety, and environment (HSE) management system. The Safety Manager will ensure a safe working environment and compliance with applicable regulations and company HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project HSE Management Plan.
• Supervise Safety Supervisors and Safety Officers across the project.
• Conduct HSE risk assessments and ensure control measures are implemented.
• Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
• Monitor compliance with HSE regulations, permits, and company procedures.
• Conduct site HSE audits, inspections, and safety walkdowns.
• Coordinate HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talk programs.
• Prepare and present HSE performance reports to project and senior management.
• Liaise with client HSE representatives and regulatory authorities.
• Manage emergency response planning and drills.
• Promote a strong safety culture and behavior-based safety programs across site.
• Review and approve method statements and risk assessments for high-risk activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Safety Manager position should possess a strong background in health, safety, and environment management. A minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience is required for this role.
