Join Hartmann Young as a Technical Sales Specialist!

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Sales Specialist to drive sales growth by promoting our cutting-edge portfolio of molecular diagnostic kits, genomic testing services, and laboratory instruments. This role merges technical expertise with sales strategy to support clients in healthcare, diagnostics, and research sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell molecular diagnostics products, genomic services, and laboratory instruments to hospitals, clinical labs, research centers, and diagnostic chains.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with key stakeholders, including pathologists, lab managers, clinicians, and procurement teams.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and user training to effectively communicate product value.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support promotional campaigns and feedback loops.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
  • Achieve sales targets, manage pipelines, and maintain CRM records accurately and timely.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to adjust sales strategies.
  • Provide post-sales support and coordinate with application and technical teams for customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related discipline.
  • 25 years of experience in technical sales within molecular diagnostics, genetic testing, or life science instruments.
  • Solid knowledge of PCR, qPCR, NGS, and other molecular techniques.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage a sales territory independently and travel frequently.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with hospitals, diagnostic labs, or research institutions.
  • Familiarity with IVD regulations and standards (*, ICMR, NABL).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools.
