Steward

About the Role

Edition is seeking a Steward to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position is crucial for supporting various hotel functions, primarily focusing on maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the availability of essential items across different departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers, and dryers.
• Transport dishware or linens across the hotel premises.
• Support various departments, such as the kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry, with cleaning needs.
• Perform additional job duties as requested by Supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as required by job duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: No high school diploma or *** equivalent is required.
• Related Work Experience: No prior related work experience is necessary.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: None specified.
