About the Role

Edition is seeking a Steward to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position is essential for supporting various hotel functions, particularly in maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency across departments such as the kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. The role involves ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation for guest amenities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cleaning needs across various departments including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry.
• Prepare clean linen and ensure spotless dining ware for guests.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, such as dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers, and dryers.
• Transport dishware or linens throughout the hotel as required.
• Create and maintain a safe workplace environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Uphold established quality standards and expectations.
• Ensure professional appearance, uniform, and communication at all times.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Support team efforts to achieve common goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to concerns from other employees.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience. The role requires individuals who are committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and supporting hotel operations effectively.
