Supervisor Occupational Safety & Health (Saudi Only)

About the Role

Sheraton is seeking a Supervisor-Occupational Safety & Health (Saudi Only) to join their team. This full-time role is responsible for assessing risks within the hotel work environment to minimize associate illness and injury during work hours. The supervisor will inspect hazardous factors, equipment quality, and facilities used by associates, guiding the organization towards a healthy and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise, monitor, and report on workplace safety, engaging staff in programs that verify safe practices.
• Assist management with training, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a primary contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete safety training and certifications as required.
• Verify that uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs.
• Communicate professionally and clearly, preparing and reviewing accurate written documents.
• Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, supporting team goals and responding to employee concerns.
• Verify adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
• Move at a speed required to respond to work situations (*, run, walk, jog).
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 75 pounds with assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements for this position.
