About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Occupational Safety & Health to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah. This full-time role involves assessing risks within the hotel work environment to minimize associate illness and injury during work hours. The Supervisor will inspect hazardous factors, evaluate equipment quality, and lead initiatives to foster a healthy and safe workplace through advising, monitoring, reporting, and engaging staff in safe practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist management with employee training, motivation, and coaching.
• Serve as a primary contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Verify that uniforms and personal appearance meet professional standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
• Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
• Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Verify adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, and visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Perform physical tasks including moving at required speeds, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and lifting/moving objects up to 50 pounds without assistance (or 75+ pounds with assistance).
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate narrow, confined, elevated, sloping, uneven, or slippery spaces, and move up and down stairs/ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates should be aware that some states may have additional licensing or registration requirements for this position.
