TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR

About the Role

Dallah Healthcare is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to manage and oversee daily transportation operations. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring the safe and timely transport of hospital staff, patients, and employees' dependents, while also maintaining the hospital's vehicle fleet in optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and control the day-to-day operations of the Transportation Division.
• Coordinate with workshops for hospital vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Manage gasoline coupon issuance to all drivers in coordination with gasoline stations.
• Process all requisition papers upon prior approval from the Support Services Manager.
• Sign necessary departmental documents.
• Provide instructions to the Assistant Transportation Supervisor and drivers.
• Foster a cooperative and positive working environment within the department.
• Dispatch vehicles and drivers according to the approved trip schedule.
• Ensure regular check-ups and repairs to maintain hospital vehicles.
• Report any damaged vehicles to the Support Services Manager for appropriate action.
• Implement relevant policies and procedures to meet hospital goals, objectives, and standards of care and quality improvement.
• Perform other tasks within competence as directed by the Support Services Manager and FMS Director.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a driver of cars and light-duty vehicles, proficient in both manual and automatic transmissions.
• At least one year of experience in a supervisory role.
• Possession of a High School Certificate.
• A valid Saudi Driving License is required.
• A clean driving record with no history of prosecutions for serious driving offenses is desirable.

Work Environment

The Transportation Supervisor will work within the Support Services department, collaborating closely with drivers and other departmental staff to ensure efficient and safe operations across Dallah Healthcare facilities.
