About the Role

Maqam Group is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department at its 4-star hotel in Abha, 'Asir. This full-time position is critical for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all guest rooms and public areas, directly contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

The Role

The Executive Housekeeper will manage the entire housekeeping team, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to luxury hotel standards. This role requires a professional leader capable of maintaining a pristine environment that reflects the hotel's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise cleanliness operations across all guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms to ensure strict compliance with 4-star hotel luxury and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor inventory levels for linen, cleaning chemicals, and guest amenities, coordinating with the procurement department.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate housekeeping and laundry staff to maintain high efficiency and service quality.
• Enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols, particularly concerning chemical usage and general sanitation practices.
• Report any room defects or damages immediately to the maintenance department for prompt repair.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Senior Supervisor within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Proficiency in both Arabic and English, with strong communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
• Familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) for tracking room status and managing operations.
• Ability to work on foot for extended periods and manage operational demands during peak tourist seasons in Abha.
