About the Field Engineer Role

Baker Hughes is seeking candidates for a Field Engineer I position as part of its Emerging Talent Program. This full-time role is based in Al-Ahsa Governorate, Saudi Arabia, and is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience. The program aims to develop recent graduates into key contributors within the energy sector, focusing on assisting clients in locating and producing energy more efficiently.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Field Engineer, you will serve as the primary interface between Baker Hughes' on-site teams and the client. This role involves technical and professional leadership to ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and startup of equipment, while striving to exceed customer expectations for jobsite services. You will contribute to creating reliable, high-quality support for customers through innovative contributions.

Key responsibilities within the Emerging Talent Program include:

• Coordinating with crew members for the deployment of tools and services, including liaison with customers and shore-based Operations Managers.
• Participating in hands-on problem-solving of complex technical issues at the rig site.
• Managing the preparation, documentation, and receipt of outbound and inbound equipment and products, including those to and from the well site.
• Providing support for tenders, including data analysis and cost estimations, and performing invoicing activities.
• Engaging in job shadowing to develop a comprehensive understanding of the business.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any field), Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences, or a related discipline, obtained within the last 36 months.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of * on a scale (or equivalent).
• Fluency in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in the country of application without company sponsorship or time restrictions.
• Good interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for teamwork and the ability to guide others.
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, numerical skills, data analysis, and project management abilities.

The Emerging Talent Program for Field Engineers is approximately 36 months in duration. It is designed to provide recent graduates with career-shaping experiences. Participants will receive opportunities for growth and development within an international organization, learning from collaborative and inspiring colleagues. The program aims to equip graduates with the foundation to make significant contributions to the company's future.
