We are seeking a Head of QA/QC to join our team in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time position.

Purpose of the Head of QA/QC Role

The Head of QA/QC will facilitate, monitor, and control plant maintenance activities, ensuring strict adherence to quality assurance procedures and policies. This role is critical for upholding the specified quality and HSEQ standards of the Company across all maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop QA plans and other required process control procedures to ensure maintenance processes meet specified quality and HSEQ standards.
• Maintain the Corrective Action program and other quality systems.
• Develop and implement the Quality Management System.
• Coordinate and participate in internal audits with Company Quality personnel.
• Conduct Quality Assurance investigations for deviations and out-of-specifications.
• Review maintenance processes to ensure they are carried out in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
• Liaise with other departments on Quality Assurance issues.
• Carry out other Quality Assurance functions as they may arise.
• Support contractor staff in its mission of compliance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure that all QA department personnel are trained to perform their jobs effectively.
• Manage the QA departmental budget and other administrative functions to ensure an efficient, cost-effective, and well-integrated maintenance operation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Quality Controller.
• Holding a NACE Level 2 certification.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Strong technical understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance principles.
• Demonstrated knowledge in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Proven leadership skills within large organizations.
• Well-organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and openness to new ideas.
• Ability to achieve business results while working effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
