The Role of Insulation Fitter

KBR is seeking an Insulation Fitter to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time position is responsible for the removal and repair of hot and cold insulation on industrial equipment and systems within SATORP Plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply, remove, and repair insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems within SATORP Plants.
• Determine the necessary amounts and types of insulation, along with installation methods, based on factors such as location, surface shape, and equipment use.
• Install sheet metal around insulated pipes using screws to protect the insulation from weather conditions or physical damage.
• Prepare surfaces for insulation application by brushing or spreading on adhesives.
• Select appropriate insulation materials, such as fiberglass, Styrofoam, or cork, based on their heat-retaining or excluding characteristics.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in insulation fitting.
• Must be aware of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules.
• Possess proper knowledge of plant hazardous materials.
• Demonstrate proper knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and its correct use.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Eastern region. The role requires working within SATORP Plants, adhering to strict safety protocols and operational guidelines.
