About PaxOcean and the Role

PaxOcean is seeking a Manager Finance to join its team in Al Jubail, Al Jubayl. This full-time role is central to overseeing end-to-end finance operations, ensuring robust financial control, compliance, and strategic alignment with the company’s business objectives. The Manager Finance will drive process improvements and manage critical financial functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance operations, ensuring adherence to company objectives, policies, and budgets.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs while mitigating financial and interest risks.
• Perform credit risk analysis on customers and ensure targeted daily sales outstanding (DSO) is met.
• Oversee the costing function to ensure accuracy in reports, prompt clearance of delta costs, and analysis of unusual contribution margins (CM).
• Manage and maintain the fixed asset register, verifying proper approval for capital expenditure (CAPEX) additions.
• Lead initiatives to optimize financial processes, particularly in accounts payable (AP) and payments.
• Partner with other departments to develop financial strategies that align with overall business goals and identify and mitigate financial risks associated with operational functions.
• Support ad-hoc finance-related initiatives as required.

Financial Planning, Reporting, and Compliance

• Lead the preparation, monitoring, and management of annual budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor actual expenditures against approved budgets, including detailed tracking of project/CAPEX costs and variance analysis.
• Prepare actual monthly financial reports, including forecasts and variance analysis comparing actual results against budgeted figures.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures across all operations.
• Review and submit quarterly VAT to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee annual tax compliance activities, ensuring timely and accurate filings in accordance with ZATCA laws and regulations.
• Act as the key liaison with external auditors, tax agents, and banks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 3 years in an operational finance role.
• Experience in leading a team of at least 5 staff.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills are preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
• Hands-on approach to lead by example and coach the team.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
