About the Role

Abdullah A. Barrak & Sons Co. is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead and oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities. This full-time position is based in Al Jubail and focuses on projects within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international quality standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements, while also driving continuous improvement throughout project execution.

Key Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to establish and maintain robust quality frameworks across all project phases. This involves leading comprehensive QA/QC initiatives from engineering through commissioning, ensuring adherence to the highest quality benchmarks and fostering a culture of excellence and compliance within the project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with project and client requirements.
• Lead QA/QC activities throughout engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 9001, ASME, API, ASTM, and relevant project specifications.
• Manage quality inspections, audits, surveillance, and testing activities.
• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality documentation.
• Monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party inspection agencies.
• Lead and mentor QA/QC engineers and inspectors to ensure project quality objectives are achieved.
• Prepare quality reports, KPIs, and project quality performance metrics.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with HSE and quality standards.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant QA/QC leadership position is required, demonstrating a proven ability to manage complex quality systems and teams effectively.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail. The role involves working within a dynamic project environment, collaborating with various stakeholders to uphold stringent quality and safety standards across all operations.
