QC Inspector Fireproofing Project

About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a QC Inspector Fireproofing Project to join their team in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves performing inspection and testing of passive fireproofing application activities to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on fireproofing application works.
• Verify surface preparation, primer, and fireproofing material application against specifications.
• Witness thickness (DFT/WFT) checks and adhesion tests as per the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Verify materials and batch certificates against approved specifications.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client and third-party inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily Quality Control (QC) reports.
• Verify the calibration status of measuring and test equipment (*, thickness gauges) used on site.
• Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for fireproofing works.
• Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and fireproofing standards.
• Support the preparation of quality documentation for fireproofing handover dossiers.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in quality control inspection, specifically within fireproofing projects.

Performance Evaluation

Performance in this role will be evaluated based on several key indicators, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance.

• Timely identification and reporting of non-conformances.
