QC inspector Insulation

About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a QC Inspector - Insulation to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time role involves performing inspection and testing of thermal/mechanical insulation and cladding installation activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on insulation and cladding installation works.
• Verify insulation material, thickness, and installation methods against approved specifications.
• Witness moisture barrier, banding, and cladding installation checks as per the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Verify materials and batch certificates against approved specifications.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client and third-party inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily Quality Control (QC) reports.
• Verify the calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site.
• Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for insulation works.
• Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and insulation standards.
• Support the preparation of quality documentation for insulation handover dossiers.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in quality control inspection, specifically within insulation and cladding installations.

Performance in this role will be evaluated based on several key indicators, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency:

• Accuracy and completeness of inspections.
• Timely identification and reporting of non-conformances.
• First-time inspection pass rate on assigned work fronts.
