About the Role

JAL International Co. Ltd. is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This contract position is designed for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with 2-5 years of experience in data analysis. The primary objective of this role is to collect, process, and interpret data to support informed business decision-making across the organization.

Role Purpose

The Data Analyst will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights. This position requires strong analytical skills and proven experience working with large datasets to identify critical trends and patterns. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating complex data into clear, understandable reports and dashboards, enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Analyze large datasets to identify significant trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using various Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Prepare periodic reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.
• Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their reporting and data analysis requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for operational improvements based on data findings.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support specific business initiatives and strategic projects.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all data and analytical outputs.
• Document data definitions, processing methodologies, and analytical approaches for future reference.

Candidate Profile

• 2-5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar data-focused analytical role.
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret complex data.
• Proven experience working with large datasets and extracting meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards using BI tools.
• Competency in writing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.

Work Environment

This is a contract position located in Al Jubail, within the Eastern region. The role involves working collaboratively with various business teams to meet data analysis and reporting needs.
