About the Role: Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Duruper is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer for a contract role based in Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This position is designed for a professional with 2-5 years of experience, specifically focused on quality control within electrical and instrumentation systems for Oil & Gas projects. The role ensures that all E&I works comply with stringent project specifications, industry standards, and international codes.

Role Context and Purpose

As a QC Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Inspector, the primary purpose of this role is to uphold the highest quality standards for E&I systems. This involves comprehensive inspection, rigorous testing, and thorough quality assurance processes across various Oil & Gas project phases. The successful candidate will play a vital part in verifying adherence to established guidelines and ensuring operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical and instrumentation installations in strict accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Verify all activities related to cable laying, termination, glanding, and routing.
• Conduct inspections of installed instruments, control panels, junction boxes, and field devices.
• Witness and review testing and commissioning activities, including continuity, insulation resistance, and loop checks.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and applicable international codes.
• Review material inspection reports (MIR), test reports, and all relevant project documentation.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC records, inspection reports, and punch lists.
• Identify non-conformities and diligently follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation quality control within the Oil & Gas sector. A critical requirement for this position is current Aramco approval as a QC Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Inspector.

This is a contract position. The role will be based in Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, supporting various Oil & Gas projects in the region.
