About KBR and the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Fabricator III to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time position is within KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS), which delivers comprehensive solutions across the asset lifecycle, including licensed process technologies, advisory services, technical expertise, energy transition solutions, and design capabilities. The Fabricator III will be responsible for organizing and executing piping fabrication activities safely and efficiently based on plant requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate required piping or layouts according to job instructions, drawings, material specifications, and technical references provided by the supervisor.
Set up, align, and operate heavy-duty specialized workshop tools for cutting, threading, and grooving various types of pipes and joints.
Organize necessary resources, including materials and equipment, for pipe fabrication tasks.
Ensure all pipe fabrication work complies with quality specifications.
Execute fabrication jobs both at the designated site and in the field.
Maintain accurate records of ongoing pipe fabrication progress.
Log all progress related to pipe fabrication jobs and report to the pipefitter supervisor.
Provide support in investigation jobs for the failure analysis of piping circuits.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Fabricator III position should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in fabrication roles. A strong understanding of piping fabrication activities, material specifications, and safety protocols is required.

Required Skills

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Skilled in operating specialized workshop tools for pipe cutting, threading, and grooving.
Ability to organize resources and manage materials effectively for fabrication tasks.
Strong commitment to quality assurance and compliance with fabrication standards.
Capability to work independently and as part of a team in various site and field conditions.
Effective communication skills for reporting progress and collaborating with supervisors.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Eastern region. The role involves working both in workshop settings and at various field locations, requiring adaptability and adherence to safety regulations.
