KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a dedicated Heavy Truck Driver to join its team in Al Jubail. This is a full-time position critical to supporting operations through efficient and safe transportation of various materials.

The Role of a Heavy Truck Driver

The Heavy Truck Driver is responsible for transporting diverse types of merchandise, including supplies, hazardous chemicals, or manufacturing equipment, between designated locations. This role requires operating a truck, van, or other large vehicle capable of carrying substantial loads, ensuring timely and secure delivery of cargo.

Key Responsibilities

• Haul cargo efficiently from one point to another for distribution, purchase, or sale purposes.
• Conduct thorough inspections of trucks to ensure safety and strictly adhere to all safety instructions, particularly when transporting hazardous materials or chemicals.
• Maintain responsibility for the overall condition of the vehicle, proactively identifying and reporting any malfunctioning parts.
• Inspect cargo to verify correct and secure loading procedures have been followed.
• Review all necessary shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure full compliance with all established safety procedures throughout all operations.
• Actively encourage the reporting of unsafe acts and conditions to maintain a safe working environment.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures both prior to and during work activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy truck driving or a related field.
• Demonstrated good physical condition, capable of enduring extended periods on the road without rest.
• Proficient knowledge of truck maintenance to address potential breakdowns effectively.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Punctual and highly capable of adhering to strict schedules to ensure timely merchandise transport.
• Possesses a high degree of carefulness and the ability to meticulously follow precautionary measures, especially when handling hazardous or fragile materials.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, and involves working within a dynamic operational environment where adherence to safety protocols is paramount.
