About the Role

Abdullah A. Barrak & Sons Co. is seeking an experienced Lead Estimation Engineer to join our team in Al Jubail. This full-time position is central to our operations within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry, focusing on leading estimation activities and ensuring competitive and profitable project execution. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost assessments and supporting project proposals and bids.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and EPC projects.
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work to develop accurate estimates.
Prepare quantity take-offs, cost breakdowns, and comprehensive pricing analysis.
Coordinate effectively with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams to gather all required inputs.
Analyze project requirements, identify potential risks, and assess their cost impacts.
Prepare commercial and technical bid submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
Develop and implement cost estimation strategies, continuously improving existing estimation processes.
Maintain estimation databases, cost references, and historical project data for future use.
Provide essential support during tender negotiations and throughout the project handover phase.

Qualifications and Experience

A strong background in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Candidates must possess 5 to 10 years of extensive experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry.
