About the Role

Abdullah A. Barrak & Sons Co. is seeking an experienced Project Control Manager to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience to manage project planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance reporting. The primary objective is to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget, particularly within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all project control activities across Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive project schedules, plans, and progress measurement systems.
• Establish project baselines for cost, schedule, and performance monitoring.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify delays, risks, and potential cost impacts.
• Prepare detailed project control reports, dashboards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and performance analyses for management and clients.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams.
• Manage project forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
• Review and analyze contractors’ schedules, progress updates, and recovery plans.
• Support project risk management initiatives and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Ensure strict compliance with project control procedures, established standards, and client-specific requirements.
• Lead project control teams, providing guidance and mentorship to planners and cost engineers.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering.
• Over 10 years of extensive experience in Project Control roles.
• Proven experience within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
