About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time role involves reviewing construction plans, managing project costs, and ensuring overall project efficiency. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements.
Scrutinize maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts, to secure optimal deals.
Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other necessary documents.
Advise managers and clients on potential improvements and new strategies.
Track material usage and order additional supplies as needed.
Document any design changes and update budgets accordingly.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
Travel from the office to various sites as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
5-10 years of experience in a relevant role.
A valid driving license is required.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Strong knowledge of infrastructure projects.
Solid background in safety protocols and practices.
Proficiency across all construction disciplines with practical "how-to" knowledge.
Strong understanding of cost management principles.
Robust knowledge of construction coordination.
