Opportunity Overview: Rigging Incharge / Team Leader

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a skilled Rigging Incharge / Team Leader to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time position is central to managing and leading rigging activities, particularly within demanding Shutdown and Turnaround projects. The role requires a professional with a proven track record in supervising operations and ensuring adherence to stringent safety and quality standards.

Role Context and Purpose

The Rigging Incharge / Team Leader will play a critical role in the successful execution of complex industrial projects. This involves direct supervision of rigging teams and close coordination with various departments to ensure all rigging tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. The successful candidate will apply strong technical expertise to guide operations and maintain high performance standards throughout project lifecycles.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all rigging activities during shutdown and turnaround projects.
• Coordinate effectively with project management, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless rigging operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards for every rigging task.
• Develop comprehensive work plans, efficiently allocate resources, and manage schedules to meet critical project deadlines.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and actively enforce safe work practices among the rigging team.
• Provide essential technical guidance and practical training to rigging personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of all rigging activities and prepare detailed status reports as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in rigging, with significant exposure to Shutdown and Turnaround projects.
• Demonstrated strong technical knowledge of various rigging techniques and equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Proven ability to motivate, lead, and manage a team to achieve project objectives.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols and quality assurance standards.

Work Environment and Location
