About the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Scaffolder II to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to supporting maintenance operations by providing essential temporary structures. Role Overview

The Scaffolder II is responsible for the complete process of erecting and dismantling scaffolding. This includes constructing work platforms, handrails, and various temporary structures such as stages, seating, and catwalks, all of which are critical for the safe and efficient execution of maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements from drawings and written instructions provided by the supervisor.
• Select necessary materials and establish ground levels for scaffolding structures.
• Assemble and fit steel pipes, support beams, support braces, and clamps to form scaffold bases.
• Utilize frames and sections to lift and position scaffolding components, bolting pipes together to construct equipment.
• Install planks over beams to create secure working platforms.
• Employ prefabricated scaffolding when available to optimize time and cost efficiency.
• Dismantle and clean scaffolding materials upon job completion.
• Perform housekeeping duties after completing tasks.
• Adhere to SATORP's HSE rules and policies.
• Possess proper knowledge regarding plant hazard materials.
• Understand Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and its correct usage.
• Be proficient in the planks color code system and the “USE/NO-USE” Tag system.
• Attend scheduled safety and technical training sessions.
• Meet the requirements of Competency Based Training programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in scaffolding.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform scaffolding works.
• Flexibility to live and work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, KSA, within an industrial setting. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and participation in ongoing training to maintain high standards of operational excellence.
