Service Technician

About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Service Technician to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time role involves the installation and commissioning of system field devices, as well as troubleshooting and problem resolution. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install basic required system field devices.
• Perform commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in existing systems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep Johnson Controls Arabia, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any issues.
• Make minor changes to correct or resolve issues in existing systems and processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to deliver output according to specific operational targets.
• Capable of explaining facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external parties.
• Proficiency in addressing problems and issues that generally fall within a single job area or discipline, with a well-defined scope.
• Familiarity with specialized knowledge of specific commercial, technical, trades, or office operations.

Skills and Attributes

• Problem-solving skills, including the ability to address vaguely defined problems requiring understanding of other job areas.
• Ability to apply knowledge within a domestic context, limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar culture.
• Strong communication skills to keep stakeholders informed.

Work Environment

This is a full-time individual contributor role based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, with no direct responsibility for leading others. The role requires practical application of technical knowledge to ensure system functionality and client satisfaction.
