AC Technician

About the Role

Dar Rayhaan by Rotana is seeking an AC Technician to join its maintenance team in Al Khobar. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in maintenance, focusing on delivering high standards of service and providing effective solutions for guests.

Role Overview

As an AC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of temperature and air quality control systems within the hotel. This role requires a professional who can maintain various refrigeration and air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance and guest comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems, including freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, and VRF systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout the hotel.
• Monitor the performance of refrigeration systems and their components.
• Verify the functionality of all door closing systems on walk-in coolers and freezers, including door gaskets and latches.
• Check and maintain defrosting systems and the automation of ice makers.
• Address maintenance requests from various departments efficiently.
• Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters.
• Assess the performance of air-conditioning and VRF systems.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to identify failures in air conditioning and refrigeration systems and assist with function setup.
• Strictly control the venting of CFCs to the atmosphere.
• Conduct overhauling of air conditioning, VRF systems, and refrigeration equipment.
• Check refrigeration and oil levels and oversee major repairs.
• Cooperate with and inform the Engineering Storekeeper regarding parts purchases.
• Execute all tasks in compliance with country technical regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably as an AC Technician.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Proficiency in identifying and implementing creative solutions to technical issues.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at Dar Rayhaan by Rotana in Al Khobar. The role involves working within a dynamic maintenance team, supporting hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
