About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a Safety Manager to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position involves developing, implementing, and overseeing the project's health, safety, and environment (HSE) management system. The role is critical in ensuring a safe working environment and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and company HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the project HSE Management Plan.
Supervise Safety Supervisors and Safety Officers across the project.
Conduct HSE risk assessments and ensure control measures are implemented effectively.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management processes.
Monitor compliance with HSE regulations, permits, and company procedures.
Conduct site HSE audits, inspections, and safety walkdowns.
Coordinate HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talk programs.
Prepare and present HSE performance reports to project and senior management.
Liaise with client HSE representatives and regulatory authorities.
Manage emergency response planning and drills.
Promote a strong safety culture and behavior-based safety programs across the site.
Review and approve method statements and risk assessments for high-risk activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant safety management role.
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive HSE management systems.
Strong understanding of HSE regulations, permits, and industry best practices.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. The Safety Manager will work within a project-focused environment, collaborating with various teams and external stakeholders to uphold safety standards.
