Safety Manager

About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a Safety Manager to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position involves developing, implementing, and overseeing the project's health, safety, and environment (HSE) management system. The role is critical in ensuring a safe working environment and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and company HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project HSE Management Plan.
• Supervise Safety Supervisors and Safety Officers across the project.
• Conduct HSE risk assessments and ensure control measures are implemented effectively.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management processes.
• Monitor compliance with HSE regulations, permits, and company procedures.
• Conduct site HSE audits, inspections, and safety walkdowns.
• Coordinate HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talk programs.
• Prepare and present HSE performance reports to project and senior management.
• Liaise with client HSE representatives and regulatory authorities.
• Manage emergency response planning and drills.
• Promote a strong safety culture and behavior-based safety programs across the site.
• Review and approve method statements and risk assessments for high-risk activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant safety management role.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive HSE management systems.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations, permits, and industry best practices.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. The Safety Manager will work within a project-focused environment, collaborating with various teams and external stakeholders to uphold safety standards.
