Vehicle Maintenance Inspector

About the Role

Abdul Latif Jameel is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Inspector to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring the quality of installed accessories in vehicles, directly impacting the final product quality delivered to customers. The inspector will perform quality checks to ensure accessories conform to established standards and are ready for customer use.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on time and according to desirable standards.
• Conduct final quality inspections at designated locations as per defined procedures.
• Register defects data accurately.
• Ensure zero defects pass from the inspection stage.
• Timely data entry in JSAP for production fulfillment and customer deliveries.
• Register billing in JSAP against each accessory label.
• Report back jobs to the supervisor for issues that cannot be repaired online.
• Perform random inspections.
• Complete inspection check sheets as per designed SOP.
• Perform NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harness) testing.

This position has a direct impact on ensuring the functional and aesthetic quality of vehicle accessories. The role serves as a critical filter to ensure that only high-quality products are passed on to the customer, directly influencing the overall finished good quality and customer satisfaction. The inspector plays a fundamental role in the quality operation by performing the final check of the product.

Decision-Making Authority

The job holder has the autonomy to discuss any job-related issues with their supervisor and is encouraged to share improvement suggestions for inspection criteria. The inspector holds the authority to pass or fail a product based on defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in vehicle maintenance or quality inspection.
• Ability to perform quality inspections according to established standards.
• Proficiency in data registration and timely entry into systems like JSAP.
• Understanding of back job reporting procedures.
• Familiarity with inspection check sheets and SOPs.
• Experience with NVH testing is preferred.
