The Role of Applications Specialist

Lincoln Electric is seeking an Applications Specialist to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on providing expert technical support, product demonstrations, and training for welding equipment and consumables. The specialist will play a crucial role in supporting sales development and ensuring optimal customer experience through technical expertise and direct engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform demonstrations and trainings of welding equipment and consumables at the weld technology center, customer sites, open houses, or exhibitions.
• Prepare and test all equipment and consumables thoroughly before customer demonstrations.
• Maintain an expert level of product knowledge and application understanding.
• Provide support for specification development to distributors and end-users.
• Respond to the technical aspects of customer inquiries.
• Listen, understand, and effectively convey customer requirements.
• Conduct technical and product training for the sales team, distributors, and end-users as needed.
• Drive sales development for existing and new products through training and demonstrations.
• Travel to project sites and distributor locations to perform demonstrations, start-ups, and integrations.
• Resolve customer issues or difficulties in alignment with the company's mission, values, and financial objectives.
• Maintain professional business relationships with all stakeholders.
• Provide status updates on ongoing and future projects.
• Identify customer needs and sales opportunities to contribute to future growth.
• Assist in marketing activities from a technical perspective, including roadshows, world skills events, fairs, and open houses.
• Resolve quality and service issues to ensure the best possible customer experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of welding processes including SMAW, GTAW, FCAW-GS, FCAW-SS, and GMAW.
