About the Clinic Services Coordinator Role

Almoosa Health Group is seeking a Clinic Services Coordinator to join their Medical Center in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 year of experience, offering an opportunity to contribute to patient care within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, inquire about their complaints, and identify them using their national ID/Iqama and full name.
  • Schedule and confirm daily appointments, and manage re-appointments or referrals when clinicians are unavailable.
  • Determine patient coverage type (Cash, Insurance, Aramco) and verify insurance eligibility.
  • Scan patient identification, create new patient files, and enter them into the electronic record.
  • Charge services as entered by the physician and discuss service costs, insurance coverage, and payment options with patients.
  • Assist patients in locating various hospital departments such as Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Radiology.
  • Answer department telephone calls and texts professionally, and respond to department emails regarding information updates.
  • Inquire if patients require printed invoice bills.
  • Maintain a clean and neat reception area, and inform patients about any delays and estimated waiting times.
  • Update and verify patient information at each visit, respecting patient rights and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to provided services and provide coordinated care and support for staff and families.
  • Follow orders from superiors and maintain a professional manner and appearance at all times.
  • Treat all individuals with dignity, compassion, and respect, regardless of background.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a receptionist.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in typing and general computer knowledge are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player to ensure optimal patient service.
  • Commitment to maintaining quality service standards.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based at the Medical Center in Al Khobar, located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a patient-facing environment, requiring adherence to established service standards and professional conduct.
