About the Role

Al-Dawaa Medical Services Co. (صيدليات الدواء) is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team in Al Khobar. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are keen to leverage data for critical business insights.

Role Purpose

The Data Analyst will play a key role in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to provide actionable insights to various business units. This involves utilizing advanced analytical tools and collaborating cross-functionally to support strategic decision-making within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced tools such as SQL, Python, and R to extract, clean, and manipulate large, complex datasets from multiple internal and external sources, including ERP systems, point-of-sale data, and market syndication.
• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and OTC to track daily, weekly, and monthly category Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as sales, margin, inventory turns, and market share.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses into category performance, assessing the Return on Investment (ROI) of promotional campaigns, pricing elasticity, and product assortment efficiency.
• Monitor consumer trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide proactive recommendations to the Category Management team.
• Partner closely with Category Managers, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to translate complex data findings into strategic, easy-to-understand business narratives.
• Assist in forecasting category trends, demand planning, and identifying seasonal shifts using statistical and predictive modelling techniques.

Required Experience and Skills

• 0-1 years of experience in a data analysis or a related analytical role.
• Proficiency in data extraction and manipulation tools such as SQL, Python, and R.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) dashboard development using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and OTC.
• Familiarity with statistical and predictive modelling techniques.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, where the Data Analyst will work collaboratively with various departments including Category Management, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
